Coach Lisa: Owner/Founder
Coach Lisa is the owner and founder of Challenge U. Softball® and The National C.U.D.I.T.® (Challenge U. Drill Interval Training) Concentric Hitting Coach Certification Program. Coach started her journey back in 2006 after graduating from Ramapo College where she was clean-up all four years and starting catcher. A four-time NJAC All-Conference performer, Lisa was the team's star catcher hailing from Dumont High School. Coach Lisa hit over .340 all four years of her collegiate career and was named to the NCAA East Region Team, NCAA 1st Team All Conference multiple years, Coaches Award recipient, and NCAA Honorable Mention recipient. In the NCAA World Series, Coach Lisa was the first player to hit a home-run over the fence proving that her leadership is part of her character.
Upon graduation, Coach decided to follow her passion for teaching the game to others. She went on to coach softball at Division One FDU and Division Three Drew University. Although she loved coaching her teams, she had a true calling for private one on one instruction. Her ability to positively influence each athlete in every hitting, fielding, and catching lesson drove her to quit her corporate job and start her first outdoor softball instruction business, Mobile Softball Training (MST) in 2007.
MST was an outdoor based softball training company in which Coach would travel throughout the tri-state area to train softball athletes on their home turf defensively and offensively. Coach built up a reputation for mentally and physically transforming each athlete that she worked with. After four years of hard work and dedication, Coach Lisa's clientele had built to a strong and steady base. In 2011, she took the chance to open her own facility: Challenge U. Softball®. Today Challenge U. Softball® trains an average of 8-10k softball athletes per year in private lessons and large camps.
Coach Lisa is dedicated to continually learn and give back. In 2015 she embarked on a mission to study the science of the swing while teaching others nationwide how to create a profession from their passion of instruction. After a two year journey, Coach launched the National C.U.D.I.T.® Concentric Hitting Coach Certification and Business Development Program that now has coaches certified in eight states. Her mission is to teach private lesson coaches how to train the mental part of the game with the highest level of mechanic drill training while making their passion into a profession. Also, Coach Lisa is a national speaker on self-confidence and living life on purpose. She has been a keynote speaker at various events including Coaching Conventions, Athletic Programs, and was the featured University of Delaware Speaker of the Month. Check out her website here.
Why pursue this you ask? Coach is a strong believer that everyone should love what they do for a living and wanted to show them how.
For a limited time, Coach Lisa is back to giving private one on one lessons at her home base: Challenge U. Softball®. Book your lesson with Coach Lisa today and be ready to WORK.

Coach Bri was a stand out pitcher at Becton Regional High School in East Rutherford NJ and now is one of the top pitching coaches at Challenge U. Softball®. Coach has a passion for pitching, dedication to improving her pitcher's physical and mental game, and an energy that is contagious. Coach Bri was a 4-year starting varsity softball player and pitched every single game from sophomore to senior year. She owned the mound as a number one well-known pitcher in NJ and led her team each and every game. Her heart on the mound is as big as her heart as a person.
During her high school years, Coach Bri’s Aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer which led her to start a charity called “Brielle’s K’s for Cancer”. Coach Bri's fans would donate any money that they could towards cancer treatments every time she had a strikeout in a game. Her ability to use her passion for the game to help her aunt during this time says so much about her character. This is a character trait that someone cannot be taught to have. Her same exact dedication is seen in each and every pitching lesson at Challenge U. and in her senior year season she had more than 120 strikeouts for her charity.
Coach Bri is a fierce competitor on the mound and her desire to win led the team to victory on many occasions. Besides being a stand out pitcher, she also possesses outstanding leadership skills. Coach has led by example and for that reason her teammates looked to her for guidance as their captain. She was willing to do whatever it took to succeed, which included training her pitching skills with her coach, practicing her pitches on her own time, dedicating herself to a solid fitness routine, and mentally training her mind to be confident and certain on the mound.
Because of her hard work and dedication to always learn and raise her standards, Coach gained a tremendous amount of knowledge through her experience on the mound. She is a First Team All League Pitcher, a First Team All County Pitcher and you can even find her on the wall at Applebees in Clifton, NJ.
Although she was offered numerous scholarships to pitch in the NCAA, Coach Bri decided to dedicate her college years to her studies, family, and working.
