Coach Lexi is the definition of will-power and determination. Coach was a dominant player from Saddle Brook, NJ being a 4 year starting pitcher, infielder, consistent hitter, as well as senior captain. She is First Team All-League, First Team All-North Jersey, Super 36 team Member, and Donna Ricker Scholarship award winner. Coach Lexi was a triple threat on the mound, in the field, and up at the plate.
Coach Lexi’s elite career stats include: pitching 75-19, .98 ERA, 708 K, 34 shutouts, .444 BA, 108 RBI, 11 HR, 27 2B, 24SB. Not letting this injury keep her from being a positive asset to the team, she decided to become the team manager and assisted in pitching, fielding and hitting instruction. With a degree in psychology, Coach uses her personal experiences in the game to help athlete's at C.U. learn the meaning of being: “Mentally Tough". Coach Bri was a stand out pitcher at Becton Regional High School in East Rutherford NJ and now is one of the top pitching coaches at Challenge U. Softball®. Coach has a passion for pitching, dedication to improving her pitcher's physical and mental game, and an energy that is contagious. Coach Bri was a 4-year starting varsity softball player and pitched every single game from sophomore to senior year. She owned the mound as a number one well-known pitcher in NJ and led her team each and every game. Her heart on the mound is as big as her heart as a person.
During her high school years, Coach Bri’s Aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer which led her to start a charity called “Brielle’s K’s for Cancer”. Coach Bri's fans would donate any money that they could towards cancer treatments every time she had a strikeout in a game. Her ability to use her passion for the game to help her aunt during this time says so much about her character. This is a character trait that someone cannot be taught to have. Her same exact dedication is seen in each and every pitching lesson at Challenge U. and in her senior year season she had more than 120 strikeouts for her charity.
Coach Bri is a fierce competitor on the mound and her desire to win led the team to victory on many occasions. Besides being a stand out pitcher, she also possesses outstanding leadership skills. Coach has led by example and for that reason her teammates looked to her for guidance as their captain. She was willing to do whatever it took to succeed, which included training her pitching skills with her coach, practicing her pitches on her own time, dedicating herself to a solid fitness routine, and mentally training her mind to be confident and certain on the mound.
Because of her hard work and dedication to always learn and raise her standards, Coach gained a tremendous amount of knowledge through her experience on the mound. She is a First Team All League Pitcher, a First Team All County Pitcher and you can even find her on the wall at Applebees in Clifton, NJ.
Although she was offered numerous scholarships to pitch in the NCAA, Coach Bri decided to dedicate her college years to her studies, family, and working. Coach Bri studied at Kean University and holds a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and Health. With her degree, Coach Bri teaches her students how to recognize and practice a positive mindset such as staying determined, focused, and confident on the mound. She has transformed dozens of pitchers that she has worked with and is fully trained under the Challenge U. Softball® Pitching Instruction Program. She continually trains under such program to bring more and more to each and every pitcher that she works with. Be ready to give 110% every session with Coach Brie!
