Coach Moriah boasts over a decade of experience in the field. She has played on high-caliber club teams and received training and instruction from numerous knowledgeable coaches. Coach Moriah's career is unique, as she had the fortune of playing for her high school team for all four years, followed by three collegiate teams.

 

In high school, Coach played softball for Berwick Area School. Her exceptional career led to her being named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Wyoming Valley Conference in 2015. She achieved remarkable stats with a 15-6 record, 1.89 ERA in 148 innings, 73 strikeouts, and a .402 batting average with 15 RBIs. Additionally, she hit 3 doubles, 4 triples, and a home run, with only one strikeout throughout the entire season.

 

During her freshman year, Coach Moriah played for Penn State Hazleton Lady Lions. She finished the season with a .409 batting average and 54 hits, tied for the most hits among all players in the country. She recorded 14 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs, 9 doubles, and 3 triples. Moriah's performance allowed her to score 41 times, leading the team and ranking third in the USCAA scoring. Defensively, she excelled at third base, achieving a .918 fielding percentage with 54 assists, the second-highest in the team's infield.

 

Moving on to DII Lackawanna College Lady Falcons in 2017, Coach maintained her impressive performance. She ended the season with a .439 batting average, driving in 22 RBIs and recording 54 hits. Her fielding percentage stood at .937. Moriah's outstanding performance earned her selection for the All EPAC Team and First Team All Region for the XIX team.

 

For the 2018-2019 season, Coach Moriah played for DII Clarion University of Softball, competing in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) as part of the Golden Eagles. She had an impressive final year, establishing herself as one of the team's most consistent hitters. Coach batted .300 with a .746 OPS, leading the team with 12 doubles and tying for the team lead with 13 extra-base hits. She also showcased her versatility by playing all four infield positions when needed. In addition, Moriah displayed exceptional plate discipline, striking out only eight times in 130 at-bats, making her the toughest Golden Eagle to strike out that season.

 

After completing her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Clarion University, Coach Moriah pursued further education. She obtained a Master's degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport Psychology from California University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, she extended her knowledge by earning certification in Wellness Coaching from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) . Coach Moriah's greatest desire is to give back to the next generation of softball players and assist young women in achieving excellence in their pursuit of becoming high-performing athletes.
