Biography: Coach Mel has made movement her mission by committing to deliver science-based health and fitness to all individuals from adults to student athletes.  With a certification accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and built on the foundation of the ACE Integrated Fitness Training® Model, Coach delivers individualized programing proven to improve fitness, strength, speed, quickness, and mental toughness.

Athletic Career: Coach Mel is the epitome of hard work, dedication, certainty, and passion for physical fitness and activity.  Coach has been a standout athlete from her high school days throughout her collegiate NCAA Division 1 years.  In her earlier high school days, she was named first-team All-League from 2009-12, first-team All-County from 2011-12, first-team All-Area North Jersey and first-team All-State (Group 1).  She led her team to a 25-8 record as a senior, while hitting 13 home runs and posting a .572 batting average.  Her passion for the game connecting with her physical strength and conditioning training paved the way to standout as an NCAA Division 1 Softball Athlete.  Through her hard work and dedication to her craft, Coach has trained over 75 individuals and strives to push all of her clients past their “max” while hitting milestone goals along the way.

“Throughout my career, I always treated my body as my temple.  I trained for strength.  I trained for speed.  I trained for power.  I trained my body, like I trained my mechanics, like I trained my mind.  These three training tools were the package that led me to where I am today.  Now, I strive to teach my personal training clients AND my softball mechanic clients to train the entire package with the mental game ALWAYS being trained.  Without one, the package will not be complete.  If you want to raise your standards, it is vital to train for the best.”
