Lock in your spot today for the Annual DHS Softball Winter Training! This program is an eight-week preseason all-skills training experience that will take your athlete's offense, defense, confidence, and overall game day approach to the next level.

DHS Winter Training is designed to teach clean hitting mechanics (swing sequence), provide hitting drill circuits to instill positive muscle memory, develop consistency for various pitches and pitch speed, improve our hitter's bat speed and power (effortless bat whip), all while building a confident mindset at the plate. This type of training is crucial for softball athletic development as they head into their spring season.

Defensively, CU Coaches will cover throwing (HLT Certified), catching, fielding, footwork, transfer work, power, and consistency. Our athletes will be trained on ball approach, quick release mechanics, and correct muscle sequencing for clean defensive skills.

Our mental training portion will cover The C.U.D.I.T. VBS System®: Visualization, Body-Language, Self-Talk. This system will be taught and drilled to each athlete through tasks, interactive role play for confidence, and physical drills training for a growth mindset through the VBS System®
