Q: What happens in a group lesson?
A: Upon arrival, your group lesson training space will be previously set for a constant drill progression circuit. Athletes will be partnered working at a drill station geared towards the athlete's overall skill development.
Not hitting with power? Athletes will be targeting their lower half to increase their power at the plate. Not seeing the ball? Athletes will be targeting their bat path to increase their hand-eye contact and extension skills. In CU group lessons, our athletes will be building their swing sequence, defense fundamentals, and overall mindset with a constant flow towards development.
Our 45 minute "mini-clinics" are an excellent way to train with teammates, save on private instruction, build character, and instill clean muscle memory mechanics. ONE RULE: BE READY TO BRING IT!

Length of each class: All softball training pod sessions are 45 minutes (non-stop) in length. We do not combine pitching/catching in our group lessons (private lessons recommended for those positions). Hitting and defense are covered in all group lessons. If you'd like to only target hitting or defense, please mention in the form below.

Arrival: Athletes must arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled lesson start time for our coach.

Scheduling: When filling out the form below, please indicate the amount of weeks you would like to schedule. We highly recommend scheduling a minimum four-week training program for your group lessons to guarantee tunnel space. This way, we can email you with all upcoming openings to secure your program in advance.

Group Lesson Payment: All four-week (or more) group lessons will be previously paid for via online invoice. If you are scheduling a one-time group lesson, you may pay for the session at the front desk. For a single scheduled lesson: If one athlete does not show for class, the other athletes will be charged based on the rates below.

Package Cancellation Policy: If an athlete is part of a group lesson package and does not make a lesson, there will not be any refunds given as Coach prepares each lesson plan in advance based on the scheduled number of athletes. If an entire group pod must cancel, we must be notified at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson via info@challengeu.softball.com.

If we do not receive a cancellation e-mail, each parent will be charged the cost of the session or a session in their pod package will be used. Cancel appointments via e-mail at info@challengeusoftball.com. By registering for your first lesson below, you agree to the Challenge U. Cancellation Policy.
