8-WEEK CU SOFTBALL TEAM TRAINING

Expect a high-energy, full-hour training experience each week. Our athletes are challenged to stay engaged, focused, and coachable as they build the foundation for a powerful spring season.

This eight-week preseason all-skills training experience is designed to elevate every athlete’s offense, defense, confidence, and overall game-day approach heading into spring season.

Offensive Training

Our hitting program focuses on teaching clean hitting mechanics and swing sequencing, while utilizing drill circuits that build positive muscle memory. Athletes will develop consistency across pitch types and speeds, increase bat speed and power for effortless bat whip, and strengthen a confident, repeatable mindset at the plate.

Defensive Training

CU Coaches will deliver elite defensive instruction, covering throwing (HLT® Certified), receiving, fielding, footwork, transfer work, and consistency. Training includes ball approach, quick-release mechanics, and correct muscle sequencing to ensure each athlete performs with power, precision, and confidence on the field.

Mindset Training

Our mental training integrates the proven C.U.D.I.T.® VBS System® — Visualization, Body Language, Self-Talk. Athletes will learn how to self-correct, reset, and maintain composure through role play, task-based learning, and mindset drills designed to instill confidence and focus under pressure.

  • Dates: Sundays — November 16, 2025 to January 4, 2026

  • Time: 12:45 PM – 1:45 PM

  • Duration: 8 Weeks

  • Location: Challenge U. Softball Training Facility - Wyckoff, NJ

Registration Deadline

  • Sign-ups close on October 8. Waivers must be completed by this date to attend. No late registrations will be accepted.

Training Area Policy: To create an environment of focus, accountability, and maturity, only athletes are permitted indoors during camp sessions. Parents are welcome to observe from the overhead garage viewing area or pick up athletes at the end of the clinic. This policy also ensures the safety and privacy of both our athletes and staff during training.

Refund Policy: Cancellations made at least 10 days prior to the start of camp will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 10 days of the start date will forfeit the full camp fee. Please note: There are no makeup dates for missed sessions.
