Coach Caitlin joined Challenge U. after ending her lifelong softball career, most recently after playing six years at William Paterson University. Coach Caitlin has starred on a multitude of club programs in her 20 year career as a utility player on defense and a power hitter at the plate.

Dealing with injuries in high school and college, Coach Caitlin’s love and dedication for the sport helped her preserve and be awarded numerous accolades. Coach Caitlin managed to have an exceptional six year career at William Paterson University and continues to share her knowledge and love for this sport to anyone willing to learn and work hard.

Coach Caitlin takes a person-centered approach to teaching and coaching softball because she likes to assess and cater her lessons and practices towards the specific players involved. She values communication and hard work, as they develop leadership on and off the field. She wants to connect with her players to help them develop both physically and mentally to become elite softball players.

The mental side of sports is a passion of Coach Caitlin’s and it comes up in every bit of coaching that she does, no matter how small. Coach Caitlin is currently pursuing a Master’s degree and future career in Mental Health Counseling because she has direct experience of how mentally demanding being an athlete is. Building self-confidence and creating positive mindsets are skills she will incorporate every day.
