“As a coach at Challenge U. I want girls to develop an aspect of their game of taking the small achievements as big wins. We play in a sport of failure, so if girls can take the little victories from the game, such as getting an 8 pitch at bat, it will allow them to continue to better their game as well as enjoy the sport for longevity.”
Coach Mel specializes in small ball, slapping, hitting, fielding, and catching. She has completed her C.U.D.I.T.® certification and V.B.S. system training and is one of the most well-respected former players in the Tri-State!
